Help Us Paint a Better Future

While individual donations are essential, we know that transformational work is never done alone. It takes a network of mission-aligned partners, funders, and believers to build something lasting and bold enough to shift narratives, expand access, and center young people as creators of culture and change.

We are actively seeking long-term partnerships with individuals, foundations, companies, and community organizations who share our commitment to youth empowerment, arts access, and neighborhood-rooted learning.

Program Sponsorship

Program sponsors keep our work alive and vibrant. When you sponsor a TCGC art program, you are not just funding supplies or covering logistics. You are investing in joy, confidence, and creative freedom for children and families across Chicago.

Customized Sponsorships Are Available For:

  • Community Pop-Ups (Art in Motion): Traveling art activations that bring free, hands-on creative experiences to neighborhoods across Chicago.

  • Canvas & Quill: Our core youth program where the same group of young artists meets regularly to develop their craft, create zines, and explore writing as a tool for self-expression. Every second Friday, their work culminates in an art exhibition at a local gallery, giving youth the chance to showcase their voices and visions in a professional setting.

  • Youth-Led Initiatives: Projects designed and driven by young people themselves, from murals to pop-ups, ensuring youth voices guide the future of art in Chicago.

Your sponsorship helps cover:

  • Professional artists and teaching staff
  • High-quality materials, including canvas, paint, clay, and more
  • Transportation and setup to reach underserved neighborhoods
  • Visual branding for art stations, signage, and event media
  • Snacks and comfort items for families, including shade tents and water

Your contribution will be celebrated through:

  • Logo placement at sponsored events
  • Recognition on our website, flyers, and social media
  • Photos and impact stories to share with your networks
  • Opportunities for employee volunteer engagement, if desired

Whether you are a small local business or a large institution, there is a meaningful way to make a visible, lasting impact.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies match employee donations, which can double or even triple your gift. If your organization offers this benefit, it is one of the simplest ways to amplify support for youth arts access.

How to Participate:

  1. Make a donation to The Children’s Gallery Chicago.

  2. Submit a matching gift request through your company’s HR or giving portal.

  3. Tell us once you submit so we can confirm and provide any documents you need.

We are a registered nonprofit and can provide tax ID information, receipts, and acknowledgment letters. If you are unsure whether your company matches donations, we can help you find out.

Additional ideas for companies:

  • Match volunteer hours with monetary gifts
  • Create seasonal matching campaigns, such as back-to-school or holiday drives
  • Offer recurring gifts with automatic internal matching each month or quarter

Let’s help your generosity go further.

In-Kind Material Donations

In-kind support keeps our pop-ups humming and stretches every dollar. Blick Arts has generously donated supplies in the past, although their support is limited to once per year. We welcome new in-kind partners year-round.

We are currently seeking:

  • Art supplies: paintbrushes, canvas boards, markers, colored pencils, water cups, sculpting tools, self-hardening clay, and similar items

  • Studio setup items: folding tables, floor coverings, hand wipes, aprons, and paper towels

  • Comfort items: shade tents, bottled water, folding chairs, and snacks

Every donated item directly supports a child’s creative experience. We provide acknowledgment letters for tax purposes, as well as on-site and digital recognition. If you are a business, distributor, or supply vendor with inventory to spare, we would love to talk. Families with gently used materials are also welcome to contribute.

For questions, in-kind donation drop-off or pick-up arrangements, or to discuss corporate and program sponsorship opportunities, please contact Patty Aikonedo at patty@tcgchicago.org.
